About Wakohen

Founded in 1948, Wakohen is first and foremost an innovative family business focused on growing tea in the most natural conditions possible. Realising early on that pesticides were as harmful to pests as they were to the natural ecosystem, the founder decided to find an alternative: today, the company combines machines using water and wind pressure against pests, steam machines against weeds and more disease-resistant tea varieties so that it can always boast pesticide-free cultivation.
