A Tokubetsu Junmai sake made from the highly prized Gohyakumangoku rice, brewed at a low temperature to extract its full flavour. Representative of Hasegawa, this sake offers a softness in the mouth coming from the umami of the rice, as well as a clean and refreshing finish. The combination of richness and freshness makes you want to drink it at will.
Characteristic: This sake enhances the umami of the rice for a round mouth and a clean finish. You can appreciate its double facet, consistent and refreshing at the same time.

Founded by a samurai ancestor who settled in the province of Echigo (now Niigata Prefecture) in the 16th century, the Hasegawa Brewery was truly born in 1842, when it was one of five sake houses dedicated to gods authorized to brew, despite the famine that ravaged the country and made rice an exceptionally precious commodity. The authorization obtained to sell the sake that remained after the offerings constituted the commercial beginning of the Hasegawa Brewery, its master brewers taking since then the name of their predecessor as a sign of respect and perpetuation of a traditional production.
