Keep in a cool place and away from light. Sake has no expiration date, but we recommend drinking it within one month of purchase to get the most out of its flavors.

This junmai is typical of what "Niigata" offers best by highlighting all the benefits of sakamai, sake rice. This sake is an ordinary quality sake, produced only with rice, water and koji. The rice used must be polished to at least 70% of its original size, for a firm and powerful taste, both pure and well balanced. "Tokubetsu" means that the rice used for this sake is a special sake rice of superior quality. It's a dry sake.
A simple sake, easy to associate. A beautiful acidity, balanced by a light bitterness, makes it the ideal drink to accompany all kinds of dishes.

Pairings: Accompanies fairly fatty or boiled dishes as well as dishes with spices, nuts or brown sugar in pieces. Simmered mackerel with Miso, Yakitori (Tare), Teriyaki with yellow tail, roast pork, sweet and sour pork, shrimps with chili sauce. Cabbage rolls, vegetable terrine, omelette, low-fat dishes.
